Does 3rd or grounding wire need to be connected?


Hi Kelly, You can review the installation guide on the Lowes product webpage for a better idea of what to expect. This information can be found on page 2. You do need to connect the grounding wire to the ground/bare wire from your home. The installation guide can be found on the Lowes product webpage under the "Overview" section, on the right side of the screen. It is a link to a PDF called "Installation Guide".
