can edges be trimmed off at the store? locn is Lancaster, PA west store

If the ramp edges have to be trimmed off neatly and safely, there needs to be a groove to cut/trim. This mat was not designed to be used without the ramp edges and hence it has no such grooves for neat & safe trimming. So, trimming the edges may be difficult and unsafe. We do not recommend it.
