The R Value is 4.5 per inch.

Almost nil. Maybe 1/4 judging from other foam and its thickness. If you need to insulate the floor, don't bother relying on this stuff. I did a basement floor in 3/4 inch closed cell styrofoam, and it warms it up considerably.
