why should I use this product? Pros and cons


This is a basic Underlayment for Laminate and engineered hardwood. You should use this in conjunction with an additional moisture barrier, if required by the flooring manufacturer, only if you’re looking for “minimal/basic” performance. For better performance use 2 mm Floor Comfort Underlayment and for the best performance use 3 mm Pergo Gold for your laminate or engineered hardwood. Lowes has the right underlayment(s) based on price and performance – which you chose is up to you!
