Is this supposed to be retractable once extended? I can't seem to retract mine after extending it for the first time. Thanks in advance.

The pole is designed to be extended, beginning with the section closet to the handle. Simple loosen and pull to extend the first part and lock tightly after pole is extended all the way out. Repeat this step for the next 2 sections. This will allow your pole to be extended to it's full length. Once you are done using the pole, you may reverse the action of extending the pole to simply collapse each section, one at a time. There are no retractable features to this pole.
