how do you flush the sediment filter 25699?

Open the valve at the bottom of the clear basin while the pump is running and the filter should flush/clean itself

Flushing is really easy. Just turn the "T" valve on the bottom of the clear bowl for about 5 seconds. You'll see all the brown "stuff" on the mesh screen (that is inside the clear bowl) flush out. VERY EASY AND QUICK

You flush the sediment from the screen filter by attaching the 1/2" valve to the bottom of the plastic housing. When the filter needs cleaning, simply open the 1/2" valve at the bottom of the housing and place a bucket under it to catch the water that is discharged from the filter. Let the water run long enough to clean the screen of the filter. If the filter needs additional cleaning, (you must remove the pressure on the line by turning off the water pressure and flushing the line at the valve until no more water comes through the filter) then, unscrew the plastic housing and use a toothbrush to clean the sediment from the screen and install it again.

Thanks for the question, here are the steps you should follow to flush the filter. Cleaning Instructions: 1.The primary method of flushing the filter is flushing separated solids through the flush valve while the filter is under system pressure. 2.Open the flush valve for 15-30 seconds while system is under pressure from the pump or tank. 3.For irrigation systems without pressure tanks: •Open the flush valve •Make sure sprinkler valves are turned off •Turn the pump on for 15-30 seconds. This will flush out the filter screen. •NOTE: To avoid water-hammer, always close the flush valve slowly. If you have any further questions please contact our Technical Support Team at 800-346-7611

Flush the filter by turning the valve at the bottom and drain approximately a gallon of water.
