Is this a 16 gage or 18 gage cord?

This piggy bag float has a 16g cable. The previous responder must not have realized that this product becomes part of the electical cord system.

It appears that you are referring to a float. A float is a device used in conjunction with a sump pump. It does not have an electrical cord but floats in a drainage pit. The float is attached to the pump and as the water rises it kicks on the sump pump to drain the water. Relative to the guage of the electrical cord, it should be specified on the packaging information for the sump pump.
