Should this valve be installed verticallly, horizontally or it does not matter which direction?


Stan.....this sump check must be installed vertically as it uses a flapper design and the back pressure of the water is what will close the flapper design off. Installed horizontally the unit will not properly "seat itself" causing water to leak back and running pump prematurely. If you have questions please call us at 800-346-7611.
