Can this hold a book?

Becky This bike features a large integrated device shelf where you can connect your tablet or smartphone to the bike. Some books could possibly be attached to this area, but we recommend to use an e-book or kindle version for reading, as the device shelf is meant for a device. However, keep in mind that this attachment is above the console. Keep in mind that depending on your height, it may feel too high for reading.
