Does this NEED to be installed over plywood or can you place the floor directly over basement concrete??


Hello and thanks for your inquiry. The ProCore Plus Charleston Oak Luxury Vinyl Rigid Core Plank is a floating floor system, and can be installed on, below, or above grade. However, when installing on concrete subfloors, we first recommend installing a 6 mil polyethelyne film over the concrete (as a vapor retarder).
