CAN THIS FLOOR BE LAID OVER EXISTING TILE?


Hello CHANTY and thanks for your question. Yes, the ProCore Plus Rigid Core products can be installed over existing ceramic and porcelain tile. However, there are certain criteria which need to be followed prior to installation. First, the subfloor needs to be flat 1/8" over 6' span in all directions. Plus, if your grout joints are greater than 1/4" they also need to be filled with a suitable gypsum based leveling or patch compound.
