The kitchen vinyl tile is sticky in some areas, from the damaged tile removed. Can the Charleston oak be installed over it with no problem?

Hello Sloan and thanks for your question. Before installing your new flooring, the subfloor needs to be free of all dirt and debris where the Charleston Oak Luxury Vinyl Plank will be installed. We would recommend smoothing the surface using a suitable, moisture-resistant commercial grade leveling or patching compound over the affected area. Do not install directly over any adhesive or adhesive residue of any kind, as it will have issues with expansion and contraction, and it will also void the manufacturer's product warranty.
