When using a vapor barrier do i need to tape the seams? If so what kind of tape needs to be used?

Yes, the Style Selections Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank does require installing a 6 mil polyethylene plastic vapor barrier over the concrete to prevent mold and mildew growth from occurring under the flooring. The seams of the poly film need to be overlapped at least 6-12 inches, and taped using something strong like a blue painter's masking tape. We would recommend reviewing the wet area guidelines (found in the Installation Guide which is in each carton) prior to installation. Hope this helps answer your question. Thanks again.
