Can this be installed over concrete without any padding under?


Hello Jessica and thanks for your inquiry. The ProCore Plus Luxury Vinyl Plank already has an attached IXPE pad underlayment. And even though our product is 100% waterproof, we do recommend installing a 6mil polyethylene film over the concrete as a vapor barrier to prevent mold/mildew from occurring. If you have a raised wood foundation or are upstairs with APA approved plywood subfloor, it is NOT necessary to use a polyethylene film.
