When installing the second piece on the second row, do I install the short side first or the long side first. I’ve seen videos showing both methods.

Hello Danny541 - thank you for your inquiry. For the second row / second piece - you will angle the long side into the first row above first, slide it left towards your first piece of the second row, fold it down towards you, then use a dead blow hammer or rubber mallet to engage it into the first piece of that row.
