Can you tell me why there is a prop 65 warning? What part of the unit has "chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm"

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are always happy to communicate with folks that are so aware of what is going into their bodies because our purpose is to give you better water. SO, why the label? In California, we are required to put P65 labels on our machines because of the materials used. However, anything that requires this label does not touch your water. Our dispensers that dispense hot water have insulation around the canister that holds the water, to keep the water warm. Though this insulation never touches the water, we are still required by law to put that label on the dispenser. For more information, please visit https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65. Thank you - Cassandra P.
