if our dog walks thru this mulch and then licks her paws will she get sick ?

Thank you for your inquiry! It is safe for your pets to enter the area and lay on the area where the mulch will be applied after it is dried from the first initial rain/watering. If your dog will lick her paws afterwards and or chew on the mulch, we recommend purchasing straight mulch without any active weed control ingredients.​
