Can this product be used if planting new bushes, plants or flowers?


Thank you for your question. Preen Mulch has a pre-emergent in it that prevents seeds from germinating. As long as you are not planting from seed, it is safe to use around most new bushes, plants and flowers. Always check the back of the bag for plants that Preen Mulch is recommended as safe to use around.
