Can you run a 30 foot RV calling for 30amps and for how long if so?

Yes I have done exactly that with mine. Its powered from 18 6v batteries tied in series to 12v at 2,000 AH. I have 1,500 watt solar and 1kw wind turbine.i can run my 15,000 btu ac unit in summer or a space heater In. Winter all day and nite.i have hardwired 30 amp receptacle box into inverter using 10 gauge electrical 3 wire.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, the PW6000-12 includes a built in hardwire kit capable of producing 50 Amps. The batteries will determine how long. An average 12 Volt battery rated at 100 Amp hours (not cold cranking amps) running 1000 watts would last roughly an hour before it needs to be recharged.
