How do I shorten the length of the cable? I only need it be about 12" long.


They give you about 3 feet of wire, and you can snip and strip however much wire you don't need. No worries! I did this for mine with no problem. Hope this helps!

The nipple on the bottom of the cover plate is threaded. Unscrew the nipple and pull the cord through the cover plate to the desired length.
