Can you run two separate cables to the transformer?


As they are on spade lug terminals, I don't see why not. Just make sure total light wattage does not exceed the transformers rating. Lights are 4 watts each.

The transformer is hard wired with one cable. However, we extended our cable length with an extender connector which could be used to add additional cable in a different direction.

No, this transformer will not allow for two separate runs of wire. If more than one cable is installed the transformer will Fail. A 600 watt transformer will allow for two separate runs of wire. The only other option is a 900 watt transformer. It can have 3 separate runs of wire.
