Do you have option to change handles since a shorter person burn themselves when opening/closing thoughts? have to reach way over top to reach handle.

Unfortunately, we don't offer any other handle designs for this unit, but the handles are attached to the lid via two screws that hold them in place, so they can be removed easily.
