Is this floor waterproof? Lady at lowes said it's not. Just wondering. I have dogs who have accidents.


No not at all. Spent a lot of money putting this waterproof flooring in and its crap. Lowes won't do anthing to help and neither will Pergo.

I soaked a sample piece of this product in a bucket of water overnight and I did not see any water damage. Obviously if water gets under the floor and sit there for sometime it could get mold but if you use the underlayment Gold is helpful to fight mold

This Pergo laminate flooring will resist water seeping through to cause damage underneath the flooring, and the warranty covers you for accidental spills or pet accidents.
