My basement subfloor is plywood over 1" rigid EPS foam board over concrete slab. Should I install a vapor barrier between the plywood and the Pergo?


Hello! Pergo would not recommend installing over plywood and foam board over concrete due to the potential for moisture issues. Pergo laminate is only able to be installed in a basement that does not have a sump pump and no hydrostatic pressure. You would install the 6mil polyethylene vapor barrier and Timbercraft directly over the concrete. Thank you for your Pergo inquiry- Pam
