it can be mounted to most router tables I have a homemade plywood tablesaw with a router mount on one end and can use the table saw fence too

YES AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MOUNTING EQUIPMENT ON THE TABLE, THE PUTER IS DESIGNED TO SLIDE OUT OF THE BASE THAT IT SITS IN SO IT CAN BE USED IN OTHER BASES.

I bought this router with gift cards back in January 2013, to replace one I had for over a decade. This is the first opportunity I've had to unwrap it and use it because I just finished school and it does NOT fit my Skil 570 router table, the base is too small. Now I can't find the receipt so I may be stuck with a router I cannot use under my table.
