How does this shower head increase pressure compared to other shower heads? Isn't it dependent on house water pressure?

Typically, it depends on house pressure, however this shower head infuses air from an area near the shower head. Acts like a vacuum, sucks up air then releases from the nozzle. In my case I did notice a pressure change for the better. Hope that helps
