Do the fan blades only expand when fan is in motion? If so, how easy are they to clean when this is mounted in the foyer of a split foyer home where the ceiling is 12+ feet high? Thanks


Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the fan blades only open when the fan is in operation. For any fan installed on a ceiling that is 12 feet or higher, ladder access will be required to clean it. The fan blades are made of ABS material, and the lampshade is made of glass, both of which can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.
