will this remove a bathtub drain with the center piece missing? There is nothing inside the drain to grab to get it out with. Thanks

This tool is designed to fit inside 1/2" and 3/4" plastic pipe, apply pressure so the teeth grab the inside diameter of the pipe, then with a turn it loosens the broken pipe piece from other plastic fittings. It is not designed for the job described for this bathtub and it could potentially cause damage, so we do not recommend you use it in this application.
