How difficult is it to install? Can I do it myself?

These can be sweated in on site but you need to be careful not to linger too long with the flame due to its close proximity to the plastic. The shank on the valves have 1/2" male npt threads that can also be adapted to with a 1/2" female npt adapter. If you sweat, be sure to use a buffer of some sort (wet rag) for any heat transfer.
