can you glue tile straight to the liner with glue or thinset


No you can not

No you cannot glue tile to liner. Use commercial strength masonry mortar and pour a minumum of 1 1/4 inch concrete floor on top of liner. Please have a preslope of concrete under neath your liner, to floor drain, before you install liner. It can be 3/4 inch at walls to 0 , at drain, on a wood subfloor.
