I was wondering is there anything to soften the caulking up to take it out?

Thank you for your question. For best performance, when using OSI QUAD MAX we recommend storing the cartridge at room temperature at least 24 hours before use. If the cartridge was prepared as instructed with the nozzle opening cut large enough, and the product is still difficult to dispense it may be expired or defective. There isn't any solvent or other material we recommend adding to the sealant as this will impact it's properties. As with all items sold through retailers, a product exhibiting an issue should be returned to the place of purchase for exchange or refund.
