The QUAD Advance Sealant is a solvent based product compared to products that are either Latex water based or chemical reactive (such as polyurethane, SMP or silicone type sealants. Both the QUAD and a water-based product cure by evaporation of solvent or water and shrink as they cure, whereas chemical reactive product cures by air/moisture and does not shrink.
