Will this kill carpenter ants?

This product will control ants, including carpenter ants, that contact the spray directly or areas that the spray has been applied. It will not control the queen or eggs, as the queen does not leave the nest.

I use it every time I see an ant trail around the house however for best results I try to locate the nest and it appears to be quite effective. Ants and other insects will always return especally if there is a food source such as left out pet food etc. To keep ants and insects in check I spray around the house and yard at least once a month (summer and winter).

Yes. You may have to spray more than once to get it under control -sounds like you have an infestation - but I think this product will work. It killed spiders for me that nothing else would and has kept them away for months. This is good stuff!
