Pets, such as cats and dogs should stay out of treated areas until it is thoroughly dry. If you are unsure that product is dry, wait 24 hours. This is to minimize exposure to the product. Once the area has dried, rain/water will not dislodge the product or cause it to reactivate. Although these animals may eat a small amount of grass, they will not be able to get enough of the product to cause a health hazard.
