Does this product work well on ants and fleas in areas where the soil is sandy?

It does not kill ants as it claims on the bag. I had no luck at all. Had to purchase a seperate ant killer..

I would say it does work in sandy areas. I planted some organic greens around a tree and there were a lot of ants. I planted the greens and place the ortho over the soil and they are no longer there.
