Whats the differce between this and the c7000and is it cox compatable?


Thank you for your question. NETGEAR model R6400 and C7000 are both compatible with your COX internet service provider. The R6400 is a Router only, and the C7000 is both a Router and Modem built into one unit. If you do not need or want to replace your existing modem, the R6400 is sufficient. If you need both the Router and Mode, the C7000 is a great choice to take care of both.
