How many BTU’s does this put out? Can this heat a large pot (like for a big boil, with a Turkey fryer pot)?


Hi! The BI12RTNSS has 30,000 BTUs from the main cooking area. This drop-in dual-range side burner is meant to create sauces and side dishes, this is large and powerful enough to boil large pots of water for pasta, corn on the cob and seafood boils. It is not meant for deep frying. Always take caution to not cover more than 75% of the cooking surface with solid metal pots. Thanks!
