Does the bacteria testing include Giardia?


That's a great question - unfortunately the answer is - No! The H2O OK Plus kit will not detect Giardia in water supplies. I believe testing for Giardia requires a large volume of water to be filtered using a membrane of a specific size, and then analysis with a microscope to look for the suspected Giardia Cysts. This one definitely requires a laboratory test. Your local testing lab could supply a cost estimate on this specific test for you.
