No. Used wall anchors and screws to hold in place.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Be careful with the tape, it will pull the sheet rock paper loose. It is far better to remove some tape at the top, mid-section and at the bottom; then only about 2-3 inches at each locations.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The self-adhesive backing is a bad thing if you ever have to take the channel down. It will pull paint and drywall paper off. Using screws with drywall anchors is a lot easier, anyway. Plus all it takes is a little spackling to cover the screw holes if you need to take it down.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The Mono-System cord cover DOES NOT come with tape on the back. That's why I bought it; I've tried the taped variety and they don't hold over time.
Was this Answer Helpful ?No tape. I can't even get the top off the bottom. It is not what is pictured online. At least, I did not get what is pictured online. Same model #. I think they changed the product, but not the picture. Hope that helps.
