Can this product by trimmed down to fit a certain area? I only needed 37 or 38 inches.

Yes, easily cut or trimmed.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, I used a hacksaw and cleaned the cut with a file. Also used diagonal cutters to create an opening for entrance/exit and electrician pliers to bend between cuts to snap off tab.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes it can be cut down to size. I used my Dremel but it can be cut with a serrated knife or hack saw. I found I didn't have to worry too much about really precise edges because the end is hidden just inside the boxes
