There is a strong odor from the pad. I have been airing it out for several days, but still smells. Did anyone else have this problem? Did the odor go away?

Our non-skid backing can have a smell from the latex used in the manufacturing process. This smell is inherent to the product and originates from rubber trees. It is not harmful, and will typically dissipate over a few days. Our rug pads are routinely tested to ensure safety standards are met for residential home use.
