Will this pad stain luxury vinyl plank over time? Which side should be down to avoid staining?


We have tested this rug pad on all Mohawk flooring types and have not had any adverse reactions to date. If your flooring is from another manufacturer, we recommend checking with them if there are any specific things they advise against. The pad has a dense felt side and a vinyl side. For carpet, simply place the rug pad under your rug with the felt side facing down on the carpeting and the moisture-resistant rubber barrier side facing up against the backing of your area rug. For hard surface flooring, place the rug pad with the moisture-resistant rubber barrier side facing down on the floor and the felt side facing up against the backing of your area rug.
