Can you use cpvc with this valve? Or do you have to use sweated copper?


Hello and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen M-Pact Brass 1/2-in Copper Sweat x 1/2-in Copper Sweat Pressure Balancing Rough-in Valve Model 2520 requires sweated copper. If you would like to use CPVC, the Moen 2510 rough-in valve has an IPS connection and can be adapted to use CPVC. Male ½” CPVC adapters would need to be purchased separately.
