Recently had a plumber install this faucet. It seems to be leaking from the base plate where the faucet and sink meet. Did U guys seal with silicone


Hello Anonymous and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Edwyn Spot Resist Stainless 1-Handle Deck Mount Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet does not require sealant for installation. If you are seeing water leak around the base of the faucet, check the pulldown hose & wand connection to ensure it is not loose which can cause water to leak back through the faucet.
