I have just painted my cabinets with water based latex paint and want a protective satin coating on top. Which of these products would be best?


Hello. Polycrylic only can be applied over latex paint. Having said that, it is best to allow the paint to be cured for 30 days, if new. Also, it needs to be sanded with 220 grit sand paper and the dust needs to be removed completely before application. Finally, there is a small chance that it will yellow over light or white paint.
