Yes, a large mailbox can be installed on the Rockport Double Post. The post is designed to hold two mailboxes side by side and can support most standard or large-sized mailboxes, as long as they use a bottom-mount pattern (typically 4" x 10"). Each side of the post has a maximum weight capacity of 12 lbs, so as long as the mailbox is within that limit, you’ll be perfectly fine.
