Does fire seep or blow out through the spark screens around the bottom of the bowl?

Screen does cover the decorative openings around the sidewall of the bowl. The screen should prevent large embers or coals from passing through the bowl. However, some flames might escape if the fire is very large and near the sidewall. If you find the screen has become damaged, which could allow embers to pass, please have the screen repaired or patched.
