What are the general guidelines for outdoor maintenance of this unit?

We recommend that you clean the inside of the unit at least twice a year. Turn temperature control to "0", unplug the unit removing any food & the shelf. You can wash the inside with either soap and water or a solution of warm water and baking soda. Outside can be cleaned with soap & water. Wipe off and dry all surfaces. Wash the outside of the cabinet with warm water & mild detergent. Rinse and wipe dry. ensure unit is completely dry before plugging back in. If you are going on an extended vacation remove contents, unplug & clean. Leave door slightly ajar to allow for air movement. When the unit is in use make sure that there is nothing obstruction air flow to the compressor. Check for spider webs or insect nests that can block air flow and damage the compressor.
