The strong paint smell is lingering too long. Week.What can I do. It's in a bedroom so it's difficult even with window open and ceiling fan on.


Had windows open and fans running constantly! I went out and purchased canisters that were supposed to absorb odors and have done every DIY that Google offered to try and get rid of the odor. Activated charcoal, baking soda too many other things. Nothing nothing is working! Now I have to sand everything off. I have wasted so much time and money because I trusted the name Joanna Gaines!

Hi there, thank you for your question. Sorry to hear that the paint is still strong after a week. If possible, I'd point a fan toward an open window to help the paint fumes to escape the bedroom.
