No, these lights cannot be hard wired or controlled by an indoor switch. The beauty of these lights is that they are motion activated and battery powered so you don't need an electrician or have to deal with electrical wiring. The Light bulb is LED so that never goes bad. Skip West MAXSA
Was this Answer Helpful ?These lights are motion activated and battery powered so they don't need electricity and can mount anywhere you need outdoor wall sconces. They do not have the ability to turn off the motion sensor and they cannot be hardwired to be controlled by an individual switch. They use 4 c cell batteries that last 6-12 months depending on how often the lights are triggered. The lights are perfect for porches, decks, sheds and entrances where you don't have electric lights.
